3. Types of Cookies
3.1 Essential Cookies
Required for the site to function. You cannot disable these without breaking core features.
- Authentication: lagrio_session, lagrio_token — keep you logged in
- Security: __cflb, __cfduid — protect against attacks
3.2 Analytics Cookies
Help us understand how visitors use the site. Data is anonymized (IP addresses masked).
- Google Analytics: _ga, _gid, _gat — track page views, session duration, traffic sources
We use this data to:
- Identify which pages are most visited
- Understand user behavior (do they find what they need?)
- Improve site structure and content
You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
3.3 Preferences Cookies
Remember your settings to improve your experience.
- Language: lagrio_lang — remembers if you chose Norwegian, Swedish, or English
3.4 Marketing Cookies
We do not currently use marketing or advertising cookies. We do not track you across other websites.
4. Third-Party Cookies
4.1 Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to measure website traffic. Google may use this data for its own purposes (e.g., improving its services). See Google's Privacy Policy.
4.2 Cloudflare
We use Cloudflare for CDN and DDoS protection. Cloudflare sets cookies to identify legitimate traffic and balance load across servers. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
4.3 Stripe
When you enter payment details, Stripe (our payment processor) may set cookies to prevent fraud. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
5. How to Manage Cookies
5.1 Browser Settings
You can control cookies through your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Options include:
- Block all cookies (may break site functionality)
- Block third-party cookies only (recommended)
- Delete cookies after each session
- Allow cookies from specific sites
5.2 Opt Out of Analytics
To opt out of Google Analytics specifically, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on.
5.3 Do Not Track
We respect "Do Not Track" browser signals. If your browser sends a DNT header, we will not load Google Analytics.
6. Local Storage
In addition to cookies, we use browser Local Storage to save:
- Dashboard preferences (e.g., table column widths, saved views)
- Language selection
- Temporary data (e.g., CSV import drafts)
Local Storage data never leaves your device. You can clear it via browser settings (same location as cookies).
7. Mobile Apps
Lagrio does not currently have a mobile app. If we launch one in the future, this policy will be updated to cover app-specific tracking.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect new cookies or changes in regulations. If we make significant changes, we will notify you via email or a dashboard banner.
