Alerts & Notifications
Set up email, WhatsApp, and SMS alerts so you never miss a low stock warning.
Getting Started
Go to Settings → Notifications in your dashboard. This is where you control how StockPulse keeps you informed when inventory runs low.
Three Alert Channels
Email (All Plans)
Email alerts come standard with every plan. Alerts go straight to your account email through Brevo. We use beautiful HTML templates that are easy to read on any device.
WhatsApp (Starter+)
Available on Starter plans and above. Enter your phone number in the settings, and you’ll get WhatsApp messages when stock drops. We use the Meta Cloud API for reliable delivery.
WhatsApp is perfect for staying connected while you’re away from your desk.
SMS (Growth+)
Growth plans include SMS alerts. These work on any phone, no smartphone needed. SMS acts as a fallback if WhatsApp delivery fails.
Universal and reliable.
Alert Types
StockPulse sends two kinds of alerts:
Low Stock alerts trigger when inventory is above zero but at or below your threshold. You still have time to reorder.
Out of Stock alerts fire when inventory hits zero. Time to act fast.
Setting Product Thresholds
Each product has its own threshold. The default is 5 units.
Want to change it? Double-click the threshold value in your products table. Enter a new number and save. Done.
Some products move faster than others. Your best-selling candle might need a threshold of 15, while seasonal items can sit at 3.
Quiet Hours
Set a time window when alerts won’t disturb you. For example, 22:00 to 08:00 keeps your nights peaceful.
The system still tracks stock levels. It just holds the alerts until quiet hours end.
Alert Throttling
Throttling stops duplicate alerts for the same product within a set time window. If lavender soap drops below threshold, you get one alert, not five in an hour.
This keeps your inbox clean and your phone from buzzing constantly.
Test Your Setup
Use the Test button to send a sample alert to all your active channels. This confirms your phone number is correct, your email works, and everything’s connected properly.
Test before you need it.
Notification History
View every alert StockPulse has sent. Filter by channel (email, WhatsApp, SMS) or type (low stock, out of stock). Check delivery status to see what went through and what didn’t.
Great for troubleshooting or reviewing patterns.
How Alerts Trigger
Alerts fire automatically when a WooCommerce or Shopify order reduces stock below your threshold. No manual work required.
The moment a customer checks out and inventory dips, StockPulse calculates the new level and sends alerts if needed.
Set it and forget it.
